Ramada Plaza JBR’s Award-Winning Chefs Bag 9 Medals At Gulfood 2016

Ramada Plaza JBR, located in the heart of Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), is pleased to celebrate the success of their talented chefs at the Gulfood 2016: Emirates Culinary Guild Salon competition.

The illustrious team of eight chefs are: Anandhakumar G., Anushka Pothuwilage, Dilruk Michael, Dinesh Ruwan, Durga Bahadur, Mazar R. Serail, Surya Kumar & Vishal Kumar Jaiswal who were awarded in a range of five different categories including ‘Fish And Seafood’, ‘Five Course Gourmet Dinner’, and ‘Cake Decoration’.

The Emirates Salon Culinaire (ESC) is a series of practical and display-based culinary competitions that takes place over four days at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The competition exhibits the UAE’s hospitality and food industry by offering chefs an opportunity to assess themselves against the bounds of their apparent abilities, as well as demonstrate their artistic potential and practical skills.

Ramada Plaza JBR also recently revealed their new Fogueira Lounge, a contemporary rooftop lounge which offers new à la carte menu of authentic Brazilian petiscos tapas, including seafood options and signature cocktails offering the views of Jumeirah Beach and the Palm Jumeirah on the hotel 35th floor.
