The Z Gallery is proud to present “Phantom Voyage” – an art exhibition at Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road.
The artist seeks to create an imaginary world to liberate the mind and uses, symbolically and figuratively, a sailboat. The art of choosing an object is to reveal a temporary world of freedom, an invitation to meet furthest away from politics, wars, injustices and violence, and to reach an unknown destination au-dela.
Teréz uses the journey, both in time and in space, in order to convey this sense of heightened liberty through a simple means of mobility.
Teréz Szilvia Huszár was born in the heart of Europe, Hungary. Art is a continuous flowing journey for her; an important way of self-reflection.
She paints richly multi-layered texturized palettes to express a multitude of feelings – independence, control, indecision, escape, solitude and above all peace. Perhaps the invisible that the artist is chasing in her work is the phantom idea of breaking free from all shackles of society.
Shujaat Yar, Complex General Manager at Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai, commented: “The show will visually inspire and delight art connoisseurs, travelers, and visitors alike.”
The exhibition will open to the public at 7 PM on Wednesday, January 10. This will be an opportunity for the guests to meet the artists and listen as she shares how she created the works and what inspires her to produce art. All works in the exhibition are available to view and purchase daily between 10 AM and 10 PM.
The exhibition runs through April 30, 2016.
